About the artist

A woman with red hair tied in a bun, wearing a black top and brown pants, standing in front of a gallery wall decorated with colorful abstract floral paintings.

Growing up on the North Devon coastline, I spent countless days at the beach with my family, swimming in the sea and walking the coastal paths with our family dog. Those memories and that connection to nature have stayed with me throughout my life and continue to inspire my work today.

After moving away from the coast, I found myself missing the sea and the sense of calm it always brought me. Painting became a way to reconnect with those feelings, and I began creating large scale seascapes inspired by the ever changing colours, movement and energy of the ocean. Through layered paint, expressive brushwork and vibrant colour, I aim to capture not only the beauty of the sea but also the peace and joy it evokes.

In recent years, my work has expanded to include florals. These paintings celebrate the simple joys found in nature and everyday life. I love building up rich layers of paint and using bold, textured brushstrokes to create vibrant statement pieces that bring colour, energy and happiness into a space.

Whether I'm painting a dramatic seascape or a joyful floral arrangement, my goal is always the same: to create artwork that sparks emotion, evokes memories and brings a sense of beauty and positivity into your home.

Original, abstract artwork with splattered white, blue, and green paint on a textured surface.
